Walk through our beautiful South West with its eclectic mix of Dramatic beachfront cliffs, towering old growth forests, pristine beaches and colourful wildflowers. Spend a day or a week exploring the natural wonders on display in this unique environment and the amazing wild life and birds attracted to the region. Caving
Busselton is famous for its network of deep underground caves. Join a tour or visit the interpretive centers to discover their ancient secrets and see the stunning stalactite, stalagmite, helicitite and shawl formations as well as massive underground lakes.
We can provide assistance in arranging your caving experience depending on your level of fitness. Discounts apply for those wishing to delve in and experience multiple caves in all of their individual beauty. Did you know our south West caves maintain a constant temperature of 21 degrees all year round?
Beaches
Striking white sand and crystal clear blue water defines our magnificent coastline. The South West Coast of WA is renowned for its beautiful beaches. If you are looking for calm clean water and beautiful sheltered bays, you will find it here. Want to learn to surf? You can do that too… but if you are looking for the world-class surfing conditions, Yallingup and Margaret River surf beaches are only a stones throw away.
Whale Watching
Whale watching tours operate between September and December around Cape Naturaliste and in Geographe Bay. Humpback and Southern Right Whales settle in the warm waters of Geographe Bay for breeding before migrating south again for summer feeding. Spot them from the shore or join a cruise for close encounters watching these giants of the ocean at play. 
 
Diving
Scuba Diving and Snorkeling are very popular activities around Dunsborough with the HMAS Swan wreck and Busselton Jetty just a short drive away from Harwoods, local operators Cape Dive and the Dive Shedrun daily trips throughout the summer. Our region offers a world class great place to learn to dive with experienced, conscientious instructors or for those who have their ticket; enjoy the beauty our underwater playground has to offer. For those, less adventurous why not visit theUnderwater Observatory at Busselton Jetty for glimpse of the magnificent marine life beneath the waves.
 
Busselton Jetty and Underwater Observatory
Busselton Jetty is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere spanning 1.8 kilometers. The jetty is an icon and is appreciated for its spectacular Underwater Observatory, Jetty Train and myriad of recreational uses. Enjoy fishing, snorkeling, swimming and diving or simply enjoy the view.
